Duration: 4 hours

Based curriculum of the American Heart Association (AHA), the Basic First Aid & Life Support course focuses on the level of medical care which is used for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care. The course will consist of both didactic training as well as hands on training covering the conditions of cardiac arrest, choking, shock, bleeding and drowning. Individuals will learn basic first-aid and how to respond to each of the given scenarios to help treat the wounded.
